It's a unique program and you won't get this type of image anywhere else. There are many 3D rendering programs out there that offer the kind of versatility you seem to want, but you will not get this type of image. Good luck
by devart rule, groups are not allowed to fav works of their members.
and with something like this to show, i hope-hope-hope you're at least thinking of joining?
this is fab. i love it. We encourage open thinking! Chaoscope isn't about cool renders, its about the cool stuff you can do with them!
the texture and color of this came out wonderfully. If it weren't faintly translucent, it would seem like an incredibly wrought piece of platinum or white gold (or titanium or...) which makes it all the more sureal.
BTW, right you are about the translucency. The actual render appeared much more solid and had both platinum & gold tones. Restoring the solid look would be an improvement. I think a hard sponge would do the trick. Super feedback. Thanks
hey, thats the best comment i've ever given
so glad i could help. Don't suppose you still have the original render, or the perameters and maps, still floating around? i'd like to see these gold tones.
The only rules to joining chaoscopers is to be interested and have a 'scope render in your gallery.
well, we've taken care of that, havn't we?
you'll be devwatched, added to the journal, and able to participate in contests and voting and such. ^ .^ so glad to have you aboard!
Great. Thanks for adding me to the group. I still have the original render to the ring but didn't save any of the parameters. It's not difficult to make rings similar to this, however, using the Julia attractor. I've made a couple now, this one and a heavier looking "man's ring" by just f3'ing until i find a ring shape and then tweaking the slider bars. EZ stuff really. Fun, too
What a well-thought out comment. Thank you, I appreciate it! I added Chaoscopers to my devwatch and was just browsing the site to enjoy the creativity, get ideas, and see how I might become more involved. Is there anything aside from the devwatch I need to do to become a member? I'm definitely interested and your timing couldn't have been better. Thanks again!
